What an engagement actually contains.
The one-page version lives on the home page, with playable pilots. This page is the detail a buyer forwards to their team: what each line includes, how it starts, and exactly what you receive.
01 · data & evaluation - flagship
Expert-grade data & evaluation
for AI teams whose product is only as good as its data and its testing - and who can't afford plausible-wrong
The work
- RLHF & human preference data - ranking, rewriting, rubric-anchored judgments
- Model evaluation & red-teaming - golden sets, regression suites, adversarial probes
- Expert annotation in regulated domains - healthcare, finance, legal
- Independent and neutral - we work for your quality bar, not a platform's
What you receive
- A golden dataset built from your real cases, with a documented rubric
- A runnable eval harness your team keeps - every prompt or model change gets a score
- A graded quality report with failures named and reproduced
- A data card for every dataset: coverage, provenance, QC method, known gaps
02 · understandable - the creative studio
The creative studio
for AI companies whose product is brilliant and whose homepage nobody understands - the job is making a stranger get it in ninety seconds
The work
- Interactive explainers - your product, playable in the browser
- Launch & explainer films - 60-120s of motion and screen craft, no shoot required
- Brand & visual identity - design systems for AI startups
- Measured against one question: does a stranger understand it in ninety seconds?
What you receive
- The piece itself - clickable, watchable, or usable, not a concept deck
- The reasoning behind every decision, written down
- An identity or narrative system your team can extend without us
- A weekly written update from scope to ship
03 · useful - automation & agents
Automation & agents
for established businesses ready to put AI to work on real cost - without the "autonomous agents" hype
The work
- Workflow automation with measured ROI - documents, inboxes, handoffs
- Custom internal tools built around how your team actually works
- Document extraction into your systems, with human-review queues
- Team training so the tools outlive the engagement
What you receive
- The roadmap document - yours to keep, execute with anyone
- Working systems in production, not prototypes
- A written runbook per system: what it does, what it refuses to do
- A weekly written update from scope to ship
asked before every engagement
Honest answers, in advance.
Structurally. Every engagement starts with a small paid pilot measured against your own standard, and the standard we grade by is public before you ever email us - the RavnLab Evaluation Rubric, v1.0. You see the bar, then you see the work clear it, then you commit. Client work is confidential by default, which is exactly what you'd want as a client.
The team you meet is the team that delivers. No account managers, no handoffs into the dark. One person is always accountable to you by name, in writing, weekly.
A short one if you want it; entirely over email if you prefer. Either way you get the scope on one page: what you receive, when, and what it costs, before anything begins.
Then you've spent a small, known amount to learn that - with the pilot deliverables yours to keep either way. That's the point of proof before scale.
Yes, deliberately and openly - with expert humans owning every judgment that matters. That combination is the entire thesis of the studio.
